Our priorities
Current priorities
- Provide improved opportunities and support for families – support from Home School Link Workers, training for CAF, parent information sessions, funding for peer mentoring, family learning opportunities, improved swift and easy access to support services, sign-posting parents to sources of advice.
- Developing a programme to help the smooth transfer of pupils from one phase of schooling to another - transition morning for dads, development of ‘good practice’ guidance, support for induction events for special needs children.
- Provide innovative training for staff
- Access to childcare and a varied menu of activities – review of childcare needs, signposting to providers, links with Children’s Centres, links to providers of holiday activities, Community Events – Bridging the Gap.
